By accepting myths about pediatric radiology without critical examination, trainees are at risk of forming misconceptions that deter them from considering pediatric radiology as a viable and fulfilling career despite its high job satisfaction and unique strengths. The ACR^® Medical Student Section and Shannon G. Farmakis, MD, FAAP, author of “Myth Busted! Dispelling Myths Surrounding Pediatric Radiology as a Career,” hosted a Journal Club to explore the diverse subspecialty of pediatric radiology.

Michael Oblich, BS, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, presented a 30-minute journal club on the article, followed by a Q&A session with the presenter and author of the manuscript.
