Join the ACR® Medical Student Subcommittee for the medical student-led Journal Club. Medical students will have the opportunity to critically analyze, evaluate and present medical literature pertaining to radiology. Students will also be introduced to trending research topics within radiology and the role of radiology research in a clinical context.

With the guidance of a faculty mentor, student presenters will be asked to select a journal article on a trending topic, create a presentation and lead a discussion to evaluate the article’s hypothesis, study design, methods, results and clinical applications.

During this session, we will discuss Dr. Weinberg's recent review of the brain tumor MRI structured reporting to quantify the impact of imaging on brain tumor boards.

The journal club will be held virtually and include a 20–30 minute live presentation followed by a 30-minute question and answer discussion amongst the participants.
